Competitors will be given a specific amount of time to do as many kicks as possible on a pad. Highest score wins.
Legal Kick:
A kick is determined legal by a judge when:
- The kick starts from the floor.
- The kick lands in the designated area on the pad. Either a Clapper Pad or a body shield with a target area designated by tape.
- Kicks that do not land in designated area are not counted.
- The kick only needs to touch the pad, no need to hit with a lot of force.
In essence touch the floor, then touch the pad, and repeat as many times as possible in 30 seconds.
Scoring Fastest Kicker:
Competitors will be given 30 seconds.
Head judge will call start and stop as well as count legal kicks. Another judge(s) also count legal kicks. Totals will be added together to give the competitor their score.
Tie
If there is a tie the competitor will do another round with new totals. Keep repeating until there is a winner.
